Manor Brancaia uniting two names - Branca and Poppy, 1981 owns a couple from Switzerland - Brigitte and Bruno Widmer. Since 1983, when one of the wines received the first prize in a local competition, the production are successful. Today wine "La Brancaia" are among connoisseurs of classical, and production is based on principles such as the search for self-identity and commitment to quality.
Since 1998, the company manages their daughter Barbara and her husband Martin. Barbara, an experienced oenologist, is responsible for the production of wine and Martin led the company's management. Consultant wine is the famous Dr. Carlo Ferrini. Today Brancaia produces four wines: "Il Blue," "Chianti Classico", "Tre" and "Ilatrayya.
