Overview

Barolo wine from Prunotto made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards in Monforte, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga. Local land-related tortonianskim (Tortonian) period, built of clay and limestone elements, rich in magnesium and manganese.

Alfredo Prunotto - famous winemaker, who worked for many prestigious vineyards of Italy. Its first factory "Wine Lange" he founded in 1904 and it existed until 1922. In 1923 Prunotto decided to create a company Prunotto,which concluded a contract for the purchase of the best wine in Piedmont, specialized in the production and bottling of wines of the highest quality. Prunotto fairly quickly became famous and started exporting wines around the world: in Europe, South America, and then in the United States.
